The truck

Where it all started - a soft serve truck rolling through the streets of salt lake city. Chromed out and packed with personality, it served up the earliest versions of what would become our signature style—playful flavors, great ingredients, and a little bit of chaos in every cone. the truck was small, but it defined the heart of what normal® would become.

The store

our first brick + mortar location! it gave us space to do things our way—from baking and twisting to packing and testing. it’s where we built out our full kitchen, grew our team, and created a place that feels like the center of everything we do. the store is where normal® lives, and where it keeps getting better.

The factory

Once we were settled into the store… and then very quickly unsettled due to covid - we got to work. tucked in a tiny kitchen under the store, the factory is where normal® started making things for the freezer—pints, bars, sandos, and more. it’s where we figured out how to scale the magic, one batch at a time. small, scrappy, and wildly productive, the factory helped us find our rhythm and set the foundation for everything we make today.

We launched in harmons and whole foods (utah locations) in 2021 and have been expanding (slowly but surely) with smaller retailers across the US ever since :)

The future?

Where will we go? We don’t know!! But for now we are slowly making our way in los angeles—starting with a handful of retailers, and soft serve pop-ups. we’re taking the same small-batch approach into new neighborhoods, one cone (or pint) at a time. from events to catering to twisting and dipping on the street, we’re just getting started.

our FACTORY MANAGER + a normal^® OG! riles is the master of, well… everything and anything normal^® ice cream - she truly has grown up with us + keeps us young :)

our DELIVERY MANAGER - you may see her drivin around town in our shiny pink truck, or stocking the shelves at any one of our retailers :):) without her our ice cream world would not go ‘round!
